Four of our ladies (me included!) took part in yesterday's South of England Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill Fields on Hampstead Heath. Unfortunately due to injury we were not able to field a full team but nevertheless that did not dampen the enthusiasum of those of us who took part. The conditions, like today were sunny and cold and the course very, very muddy!Helen Wheeler was the first club runner home on the 8k course and was 34th overall in a time of 34.25. Helen was followed by Lauren 97th in 37.22, Kylie, 120th in 38.02 and myself 299th in 46,41 and I wasn't last! Photos will be downloaded on my site shortly. Tina | More news...
